Educational projects are surprisingly similar to broadcast. The technology may be used in a different way, but the challenge is often the same: creating reliable, easy-to-use spaces where people can learn, teach, create, and collaborate.

I’ve worked on projects for universities, colleges, and organisations with their own in-house media facilities. These can be radio studios, TV studios, podcast rooms, post-production suites, or any other AV-related environment.

Just like broadcast projects, they involve budgets, planning, technical coordination, suppliers, and plenty of moving parts. And just like broadcasters have a go-live date, educational institutions have one important deadline: the start of a new academic year. Missing it simply isn’t an option.
